The Research:

  • Look at your target audience and the cultural and social context — the needs, desires, trends, memes, competition, and social landscape you are playing in.

Bio

Chauncey’s been a marketing executive, writer, serial creative entrepreneur, ad agency brand and digital strategist and more over the course of her career. She’s lived in New York, Paris, Biarritz, Barcelona, Miami, South Carolina and now North Carolina where she is raising two amazing twin girls.

Her last two roles she was an executive marketer at tech companies. Before that, she co-founded and was the Creative Director for documentary video storytelling company Show Love with clients that included Comcast NBCU, Timex, Beyond Meat, Babyganics, Cotton Inc., Edible Schoolyard and smaller makers, dancers, brewers, and more. Organic views have been in the tens and hundreds of thousands and have made Vimeo Staff picks as well as winning awards.

As a digital strategist, she’s worked on food, wine, and FMCG, creating overarching narratives, content pillars, and dynamic campaigns for all social platforms. Her work starts with data-driven persona research using state of the art tools on the front end while working hand-in-hand with the analytics team measuring performance with Facebook and Google Analytics.

She’s written for over a dozen publication including a column at Inc.com, Previously, she was nominated for a Webby with her company Girl on the street that was featured in Teen People, the NY Post and others; was lauded for her entrepreneurship in The Daily News, and worked on brands globally from London to Tokyo.

With her second company, What Women Make, she officially hosted and curated designers at the London Design Festival which was featured in Elle Decor Australia.

Her passions are writing and visionary companies inventing the future. She loves using her skills to help future-forward brands create genuine, purposeful, high-quality strategic content.
